The Big T Officials clinic is run by John Mitchell, Supervisor of Officials for the Mississippi Junior College Football Conference. John currently works as an Umpire in Conference USA.

His college career includes working in the following conferences, including multiple postseason and bowl assignments.

The Big T Officials clinic was founded by the late Thomas Miller, longtime Supervisor of Officials for the Mississippi Junior College Football Conference. Thomas trained and molded numerous officials who are officiating today at all college levels, as well as the NFL. Many of the clincians who help train at this clinic were under Thomas's guidance at some point in their career. His legacy in officiating is well known and we are proud to continue to honor him in all that we do at the Big T Officials clinic.
